We also use local and national press, and events sponsorship. Every user gets their own unique username and password; they can then upload the relevant information which can include photos and text. Q. I've opened an account and uploaded all my details into the listing page, I've clicked the pay now button and the screen has gone blank? I've waited and nothing has happened, I then press back and all my details have been lost?
A. This is one of the most common problems experienced by our members. This problem is generally a result of the user trying to upload a photo bigger than 2mb, unfortunately our system won't accept photos/images that are bigger than 2mb - to solve this issue use a photo compressor tool (to reduce the size of your photos) we recommend www.shrinkpictures.com (free of charge)
Q. How much does it cost to advertise on the site?
A. Please click on our prices link Q. I'm already a member, can I change my details? A. Yes, simply log into your account and update your advert details. You can do this as many times as you like. Q. How does www.thedogdirectory.co.uk view puppy farming? A. We feel very strongly against any mass breeding of animals for profit. We urge anyone who visits/or suspects a breeder may be a puppy farm to contact us immediately; we will then contact the RSPCA, ban the member from the site and close down any affiliated accounts they may have with us. Q. I can't log into the site? A. Please ensure you have got your entire log in details correct and that caps lock is not on. If you still can't log in, please use the 'forgotten password' link when logging in and a new password will be sent to your affiliated email address. If your still having problems please contact us. (admin@TheDogDirectory.co.uk) Q. My photo will not upload to the site, why is this? A. The most common reason is that your picture file is too big. Photo's must be no bigger than 2mb in size and be in jpeg format. We now have a link to a website that will compress your photo to a desired size and re-save your image in the smaller size. A. If you decide to close your account, simply log in and go to the last option 'close my account' - please note, we cannot close account, you must do this yourself and as always there are no refunds. |
